Job description


Key responsibilities:

-Manage daily Garment Tech operations.

-Support brand growth by developing innovative products.

-Maintain and update block libraries within assigned areas.

-Ensure technical standards are followed for cohesive product ranges.

-Create accurate, consistent size charts with measurement history information; submit for Senior GT approval.

-Track and meet critical path deadlines; ensure clear communication with buying, merchandising, and suppliers.

-Attend fit meetings throughout sampling stages and provide clear feedback to suppliers.

-Collaborate with the product team on new specs and fabric selection; finalize with Senior GT approval.

-Communicate daily with suppliers to manage sampling progress effectively.

-Apply technical expertise to ensure garments are functional and well-constructed.

-Accurately measure and inspect samples to meet high quality standards.

-Analyse AQL reports and respond; accordingly, escalate issues as necessary.

-Analyse test reports and respond; accordingly, escalate issues as necessary.

-Visit the warehouse weekly for production spot checks.

-Help maintain an organized office, showroom, and sampling room with the GT team.

Requirements:

-Min 5 x years in a Garment Technologist role.

-Strong Womenswear/Multiproduct experience, premium brand preferred.

-Tailoring and Woven experience essential.

-A relevant degree.

-International factory experience.

-Strong Pattern cutting/Grading skills.

-Knowledge of Excel.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Knowledge for sustainability and compliance.

-Ability to work in fast pace/agile environment.

-Be flexible and open to evolving business needs and priorities.

-Happy to travel overseas when required.

-Loves product!
