Associate – Corporate (3–6 PQE)
London | Full-time | Hybrid (after initial settling-in period)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Associate to join a highly regarded and growing Corporate team in London. This is a fantastic chance to work directly with Partners on a broad mix of mid-market transactions while enjoying genuine career development and exposure to high-quality clients.
The Role
As an Associate in this close-knit team, you’ll have responsibility for running your own deals, as well as supporting Partners on more complex matters. Work will include:
- Drafting and negotiating heads of terms, SPAs, APAs, disclosure letters and ancillary documents
- Managing the disclosure process and preparing due diligence reports
- Handling post-completion matters and ensuring smooth transaction delivery
- Advising clients across a broad mix of corporate work including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, reorganisations, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and investment matters
- Building and developing client relationships, with active encouragement to get involved in business development initiatives
About You
We’re seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate with:
- Ideally 3–6 years PQE in corporate law (though candidates outside this range will be considered)
- Solid experience in transactional M&A work acting for both buyers and sellers
- Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, commercial mindset and the confidence to engage directly with clients
- An enthusiasm for business development and building a professional profile
- A collaborative approach and ability to contribute positively to team culture
