Commercial Account Handler

Leading Independent Broker | Skipton (Hybrid Working)

Up to £38,000 + Excellent Benefits

We’re excited to be working with the Skipton office of a highly regarded independent insurance brokerage, who are looking to welcome an experienced Commercial Account Handler into their growing team.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of six, working directly with the Directors to deliver an exceptional service to their valued clients.

The Role

You will be responsible for the servicing and retention of a varied portfolio of commercial clients, with premiums ranging from £5,000 to £100,000+.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Handling renewals and driving high retention rates
• Broking new and renewal business
• Negotiating favourable terms with underwriters
• Processing and managing policies using Acturis

About You

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

• Proven experience as an SME or Commercial Account Handler
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Experience with Acturis (advantageous but not essential)
