£45,000 - £65,000 + Package

We are working with a respected residential developer known for delivering high-quality homes across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team and take responsibility for the financial management of multiple schemes.

The Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will manage budgets, cost plans and valuations across a range of projects, ensuring commercial targets are met. The role will involve subcontractor procurement and payments, financial reporting, and cost-to-complete exercises. You will attend and contribute to project meetings, carry out on-site measurements, and provide accurate contract documentation in line with company policy. Supporting land appraisals and applying strong cost control throughout the build process will also be part of your remit.

Requirements:

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in residential housebuilding or construction. You should have solid knowledge of cost control, valuation reporting and construction processes, with the ability to interpret drawings and contract documentation. A relevant qualification (HND/HNC or degree in Building Studies) is required, along with IT proficiency and strong communication and negotiation skills. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
