Capital Actuary | London Market | Competitive Salary

Are you a technically minded actuary with a passion for building, improving, and running capital models?

We are working with a number of leading London Market insurers /reinsurer who are looking to strengthen their capital teams with a Capital Actuary.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on model development and wants to be involved at the core of risk and capital decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the internal capital model (e.g. Igloo, Tyche, or Remetrica) to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Delivering model outputs to support Solvency II and Lloyd’s submissions
• Playing a key role in model validation and documentation.
• Partnering with risk, finance, and actuarial colleagues to embed the model into strategic decision-making.

Skills & Experience:

• Nearly/newly qualified actuary (FIA/FFA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of capital modelling platforms (Igloo, Tyche, Remetrica) and a proven track record of model build and development.
• Programming skills in Python, R, VBA, SQL
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large data sets.
