Compliance Business Partner - £45,000

Location: Hybrid (East Midlands-based office, 2–3 days per week)

Contract: Full-time or 12 month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Business Partner to join a well-established financial services provider. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing proactive compliance advice and challenge to ensure regulatory expectations are met while supporting the organisation’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert compliance advice across all areas of the business, ensuring regulatory requirements are effectively interpreted and implemented.
• Act as Compliance SME on business change projects and product governance arrangements.
• Perform second line reviews of policies, gap analyses, and oversight of regulatory implementation.
• Support incident and breach investigations, providing regulatory guidance where required.
• Conduct analysis and challenge of key MI, including Consumer Duty data.
• Help embed a strong compliance and risk-aware culture through advice, training, and policy development.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a Compliance Advisory role within retail banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience implementing FCA requirements and supporting change projects.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge effectively.
• Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable team player.
• Relevant compliance qualifications desirable.
