Job Title: Head of Regeneration and Development

Department: Regeneration & Development

Reports to: Director of Regeneration & Development

Direct Reports: 2

Salary: Up to £125,000 + Pension + Benefits

Location: London (mix of on-site and hybrid working)

Role Summary:

To lead the strategic regeneration and development of a major land portfolio, overseeing complex site disposals and high-value development projects. Responsible for shaping masterplans, business cases, and delivery strategies that align with organisational priorities such as housing, sustainability, and economic growth. Manage joint ventures and multidisciplinary teams to ensure long-term value and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a specialist team delivering major regeneration and development projects.
• Develop and implement strategies that balance financial returns with broader organisational goals.
• Oversee valuations, financial modelling, and business planning for development opportunities.
• Negotiate and manage joint ventures and development agreements.
• Represent the department at senior meetings and deputise for the Director when required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety, and equality standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Chartered professional (e.g. RICS) with extensive experience in urban development and site disposals.
• Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including development appraisals and valuation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities, with strategic and organisational awareness.
