Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee the condition, performance, and reliability of geotechnical assets, reducing the risk of breakdowns and downtime.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of geotechnical equipment.
  • Lead mobilisations of geotechnical assets, optimising efficiency and ensuring readiness.
  • Support the Geotechnical Operations Manager in preparing and releasing lifting plans and deck plans.
  • Lead inspections of geotechnical assets installed on both NextGeo vessels and third-party vessels.
  • Utilise asset management systems, risk models, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical input to support projects, emergency responses, and long-term asset planning.
  • Coordinate with local agents to arrange logistics and support global operations.


Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience in geotechnical equipment or asset management.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with asset management systems and performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with international logistics and customs protocols (advantageous).
  • Basic CAD experience (advantageous).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and safety-first mindset.
