Role/Title: Claims Handler

Job Description

Experience in dealing with and managing Insurance claims, particularly UK Property Insurance claims
Handle and process property insurance claims efficiently and accurately
Assess and validate claims documentation to determine coverage and liability
If needed : Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant parties to gather information and expedite claims resolution
Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, ensuring fair and timely resolutions
Handle recoveries for property claims in UK, maximising opportunities for subrogation
Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and records
Identify and report potential fraudulent claims to the appropriate departments
Provide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process
Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve policy wording and risk assessment
Meet or exceed performance targets for claims handling and customer satisfaction
Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in all aspects of claims management
