Role Description

This is a sessional, on-site role for a Sonographer at Excel Clinic, located in Cardiff. The Sonographer will perform ultrasound scans and, ensure the accuracy of the results, prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, and provide a detailed analysis to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The role requires effective communication with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Scans needed include:
Soft tissue lumps and bumps
Doppler vascular ultrasound
Echocardiography

Qualifications

• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiology, such as ARDMS or ARRT
• Proficiency in Vascular Sonography
• Solid understanding of medical practices and principles related to sonography
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in medical imaging or a related field is preferred
• Experience in a clinical setting is beneficial
