Our Client:

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced M&A Lawyer (10+ PQE) to join their dynamic legal team as their lead counsel for corporate law. This highly regarded institution operates on a global scale and has seen remarkable growth in recent years.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead for Corporate Law, you will play a critical role in supporting the business across diverse and high-impact projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert legal advice on cross-border M&A deals across the globe, helping the business achieve strategic objectives.
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on joint venture and shareholder arrangements.
• Managing, drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts,
• Advising internal stakeholders on matters such as corporate governance, and other relevant legal issues.
• Monitoring and interpreting new laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the business remains ahead of emerging developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 9 years'+ PQE as a corporate/M&A lawyer in private practice or an in-house legal team.*
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Private and Public M&A experience would be ideal
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A commercial mindset, focused on delivering pragmatic, business-oriented legal solutions.
