Private Client Associate / Senior Associate

We are partnering with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Lawyer (7+ PQE) to join their London office. This is an excellent opportunity to advise HNW and UHNW clients on complex matters while contributing to the growth of a highly regarded department.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload including wills, trusts, IHT planning, estate administration, LPAs, and elderly client work.
  • Provide tailored advice to clients with domestic and international assets.
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships.
  • Take an active role in business development, networking, and profile-raising.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and firm-wide standards while working to financial and quality targets.


About You:

  • 7+ years’ PQE in Private Client law with strong technical expertise.
  • Experience advising on wills, trusts, estate planning, IHT, and elderly client matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Proven track record in business development and networking.
  • Well organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • STEP membership (or progress towards it) is desirable.
