We’re on the lookout for experienced and dedicated Captains to join our team as Direct Entry Captains on our DHC-6 Fleet Based in Glasgow. If you're looking to bring your leadership to the flight deck with a company that values professionalism, safety and team spirit, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Captain, you’ll hold full responsibility for the safety, security, and operation of the aircraft, its crew, and passengers, from the moment you arrive at the aircraft until engines shut down post-flight. Your leadership and judgment will be key in ensuring every journey is safe, efficient, and in line with both regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft operation during flights
- Make critical decisions during normal and non-normal operations
- Lead and support the flight crew, setting a professional standard onboard
- Ensure all procedures are followed and adapted safely as needed
- Set an example in communication, professionalism and safety culture
Qualifications
- UK CAA Licence
- UK CAA Class 1 Medical
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety practices, and flight operations.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make timely and sound decisions
- Proven teamwork and leadership skills
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Previous Twin Otter operating experience
- English language proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or higher)
- Valid passport with unrestricted worldwide travel
- 1000 Hours PIC Operating in Command of a Multi Pilot Aircraft
- 3000 Hours Total Time
