Our client, one of the largest international law firms in the world, is actively recruiting for an experienced and professional individual to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Knowledge & Information Officer within the Corporate department.


This role pays a pivotal part in proactively addressing the knowledge and information needs of the Corporate practice in the London office. This team focuses on Private Equity and Corporate Transactions & Advisory.


As the successful Knowledge & Information Officer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:


  • Sourcing and delivering a range of services and systems which facilitate access to relevant and current information
  • Continuous development of the service in alignment with Firm strategy
  • Acting as primary contact for specific practice groups within Corporate
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge and information resources
  • Contributing and occasionally leading various projects
  • Engaging with Lawyers to encourage knowledge sharing
  • Developing and maintaining practice group intranet pages
  • Identifying training opportunities for existing clients and new joiners

To be considered for this Knowledge & Information Officer, you'll need to be/have the following:


  • Have previous/existing Information experience, preferably in a Knowledge/Research/Library/Information Services department from a law firm (professional services is being considered)
  • Have experience using systems such as iManage, SharePoint, Excel
  • Be able to deliver tailored training to meet various needs
  • Be educated to degree level (or equivalent), (Knowledge Management, Information Management or related discipline is preferred)
  • Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis (50/50 split)
