Building Surveyor in Swindon

Our client, based in Wiltshire, is currently recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor on a 5 month temporary contract, with a potential to get extended.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate for the role is £350 per day, paid through an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic properties, largely focused on damp, mould and condensation.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out property inspections to identify damp, mould, and condensation issues
• Diagnosing root causes and recommending practical, cost-effective solutions
• Preparing detailed survey reports, including photos, findings, and remedial recommendations
• Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth resolution
• Monitoring works through to completion, ensuring quality standards and compliance with regulations
• Providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues and residents on damp and mould prevention
• Keeping accurate records in line with housing and health & safety requirements

Experience required:

• Experience in Housing
• Experience working with tenants

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, flexibility on this as required
