Ocean Import Coordinator – Full Customs & Operations

Location: Wokingham | £40,000

We’re hiring an Ocean Import Coordinator to take ownership of shipments from vessel to door. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the full process, from customs clearance through to final delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Complete full import customs declarations for ocean freight.
• Liaise with shippers, overseas agents, carriers, and UK hauliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee all documentation (BLs, entries, delivery notes) with accuracy and compliance.
• Keep customers fully updated, solving issues quickly and professionally.

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience in ocean imports within freight forwarding.
• Strong working knowledge of UK import customs procedures.
• Confident communicator with shippers, hauliers, and clients.
• Detail-driven and highly organised, with a proactive approach.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing the entire import process and delivering excellent customer service.
