About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Head of SEO to lead and grow our search strategy. You’ll own the SEO function end-to-end – from shaping organic growth strategies to delivering technical excellence, content optimisation, and performance reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-channel teams, you’ll ensure SEO is a key driver of revenue and brand visibility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the overall SEO strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead on technical SEO audits, site architecture, and performance improvements.
  • Oversee keyword strategy, content optimisation, and link-building initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a team of SEO specialists, supporting their growth.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media, Content, Product, and Development teams to ensure SEO best practice is integrated across the business.
  • Analyse performance data, report results to senior stakeholders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with algorithm updates, emerging SEO trends, and tools.


About You

  • Proven experience in a senior SEO role, ideally within ecommerce, retail, or digital agency environments.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including site migrations, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experienced in content-led SEO and scaling organic acquisition.
  • Commercially minded with experience linking SEO activity to revenue growth.
  • Confident managing teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven, with advanced use of tools such as GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
