Legal Counsel – Hybrid (2 days x week in Cambridge) - £80-100k plus package

As they scale, they are looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join a growing team and play a key role in ensuring the business continues to thrive on a solid legal foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supplier, partnership, and subscription-related agreements
• Advise on consumer law, data protection (GDPR), intellectual property, and other relevant regulatory issues
• Support compliance efforts across marketing, product, and customer engagement activities
• Provide proactive, business-focused legal advice that balances risk with commercial opportunity
• Manage relationships with external counsel where required
• Contribute to building scalable legal processes as the business continues to grow

About You

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with [2–5]+ years PQE (in-house or private practice)
• Relevant experience working in a B2C entertainment, subscription-driven business
• Experience advising on commercial contracts, consumer law, and data protection
• Strong communication skills—you can translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• A proactive problem-solver with sound judgment and commercial awareness
