Corporate Associate (3-7PQE)

Contract - 8-Month + Contract

Location: London

Start: ASAP

Experience: 3-7 PQE

An international law firm is seeking an associate to join its corporate team on a contract basis for 8-months (could be extended). The team advises on a broad mix of corporate, insurance, ECM/DCM and securitisation matters, and this role offers exposure to complex, cross-border work with both UK/European and US elements.

Key Areas of Focus:

• M&A - Particularly cross-border
• Equity Capital Markets – including stock exchange listings in London, New York, and Europe
• Debt Capital Markets – including high yield and investment grade deals
• Structured Finance and Securitisation – including insurance-linked securities and catastrophe bond transactions

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive M&A experience
• Solid ECM and DCM experience
• Experience with stock exchange listings and high-yield bond transactions is particularly relevant
• Interest in building knowledge of insurance-linked securities and capital markets structures within the insurance space
• Confident working across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with various stakeholders
• Able to integrate quickly into a collaborative, fast-paced transactional team
