Job description

Our client is an international law firm considered to be one of the UK’s most innovative law firms, are now looking for a collaborative Learning & Development Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis, in their Birmingham office.


The main responsibilities for the Learning & Development Advisor will be to work closely with the L&D Manager to bring to life the strategy of the L&D team through designing and delivering learning paths and supporting Partners and employees with firmwide projects.

The key duties will include:


  • Partnering with specific divisions to identify development needs and establish appropriate solutions.
  • Supporting the delivery of learning paths by selection and establishment of strong relationships with high quality external experts.
  • Supporting the design, development and delivery of the Firm's Career Development Programmes.
  • Designing and facilitating bespoke team sessions and blended learning pathways while keeping abreast of external L&D trends.
  • Supporting wider strategic projects as required.
  • Updating the LMS and managing L&D administration, as well as responding to L&D questions and training queries


The Learning & Development Advisor will have a proven track record of facilitating and tracking training modules and programmes, ideally some experience in content design and delivery. Any career coaching qualification/experience with CIPD qualification would be advantageous. The right candidate will have the ability to build and grow relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders along with possessing exceptional communication and influencing skills. The Learning & Development Advisor will be creative, confident & professional.
