Procurement Business Partner

Full-Time, Hybrid

Glasgow city centre

£58,000



Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with a public sector organisation in Glasgow city Centre as they look to welcome a Procurement Business Partner to their team on a full time and permanent basis.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing and tendering initiatives for high-value or high-priority contracts.
  • Develop and manage contract performance KPIs with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational procurement policies and processes.
  • Monitor and manage ongoing contracts, including variations and improvements.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and supply chain.
  • Mentor and develop team members, where applicable.
  • Support continuous improvement in commercial terms, processes, and supplier performance.



Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree-level education or equivalent; professional procurement qualification (CIPS) preferred.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end tendering, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in IT tools, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
