Job Title: Estimator

Location: Essex

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE)

We are working with a leading contractor in Essex who is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role will focus on preparing competitive and accurate estimates for structural steel projects, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and material pricing for structural steel.
• Produce detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to develop competitive bids.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within structural steel or related sectors.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
