Personal Injury Associate Solicitor

Location: Manchester or Liverpool

Salary: Up to £60,000 (Permanent)

The Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Personal Injury Associate Solicitor to join a specialist litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE to work on complex, high-value claimant PI matters, including serious and catastrophic injury cases.

You will work closely with senior lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services while also supervising junior team members. The role requires a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a caseload of serious/catastrophic injury matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documentation and correspondence.
• Leading and supervising paralegals/trainees as required.
• Liaising with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to progress claims.
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, practical advice.
• Maintaining excellent client care and service delivery standards.

Person Specification

• UK qualified solicitor, 3–5 years’ PQE.
• Strong experience in Personal Injury, with exposure to serious injury or catastrophic injury claims.
• Ability to review and report on complex medical evidence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially astute, with a client-focused approach.
• Experience of supervising junior team members.
