Administrator / Junior Estimator | Daresbury | £26,000 - £30,000 DOE

Office-based initially (flexible hybrid working after trainin)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

We're looking for an Administrator / Junior Estimator to join a growing and successful organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow into a long-term career in estimating.

Administrator / Junior Estimator responsibilities:

• Supporting the estimating team with project research, cost breakdowns, and bid preparation

• Analysing drawings, site layouts, and project specifications

• Gathering and comparing supplier quotes for materials, equipment, and labour

• Using Microsoft Excel and other software to prepare reports and cost summaries

• Working closely with senior estimators to learn and develop expertise

• Contributing to project planning and helping to ensure bids are competitive and profitable

• Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow

We're not looking for formal qualifications, it's more about the right mindset and attitude. You'll thrive in this role if you are:

• Inquisitive and curious - happy to ask questions and learn on the job

• Analytical - good with numbers and detail, able to spot patterns and errors

• Problem-solving - you think outside the box and enjoy working things out
