About the Role

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Private Client Partner to lead and grow its West Midlands practice. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest Private Client teams—with over 100 fee earners —and take on a senior leadership role in a thriving Birmingham office that has grown by over 60% in recent years.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the West Midlands Private Client team
  • Deliver expert advice across wills, trusts, estate and succession planning, probate, LPAs, and more
  • Build and maintain relationships with HNW and UHNW individuals, business families, and landed estates
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver integrated legal solutions
  • Mentor junior lawyers and foster a culture of professional development
  • Drive business development and enhance the firm’s regional profile


About You

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in Private Client law
  • Proven track record advising HNW/UHNW clients, including those with complex or international assets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Commercially astute and confident in business development
  • Collaborative, client-focused, and ambitious
  • STEP qualified or member of a relevant professional body (preferred)
