Restructuring & Insolvency Associate in London Area

About the job:

A top-tier law firm firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the Restructuring and Insolvency team. This is an exciting opportunity for a 2-5 PQE (England & Wales Qualified) lawyer with a strong background in restructuring and insolvency to work on complex, high-profile cross-border matters. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team renowned for delivering innovative solutions to financially distressed companies, creditors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency, including corporate restructurings, debtor/creditor rights, and insolvency proceedings
• Drafting and negotiating restructuring agreements, insolvency documentation, and related contracts
• Conducting due diligence and providing strategic advice in distressed M&A transactions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional cases
• Managing case files and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor or attorney with 2-5 years PQE experience in restructuring and insolvency
• Demonstrated expertise in handling complex restructuring and insolvency matters
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior clients
• Experience working on cross-border transactions is highly desirable
