Job Opportunity: Garment Technologist (with Design Knowledge)

We are seeking a Garment Technologist with a strong technical background and a touch of design knowledge to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, understands garment construction, and enjoys collaborating with both suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee garment development from initial concept through to bulk production.

Work closely with suppliers and factories to ensure garments meet quality, fit, and compliance standards. Prepare and manage technical packs/spec sheets with accuracy.

Conduct garment fittings, evaluate samples, and provide clear feedback.

Liaise directly with customers to ensure their requirements are met.

Support the design team with technical input and occasional design assistance.

Monitor production timelines and resolve any technical or quality issues.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Garment Technologist.

Solid understanding of fabrics, construction, and manufacturing processes.

Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier and customer interaction.

Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or CAD) is an advantage.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
