Are you a strategic procurement leader ready to make a real impact? Our client, a successful and growing manufacturing business in South Wales, is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead their purchasing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimisation initiatives.

This is a high-profile leadership role where you’ll shape procurement strategy, build strong supplier partnerships, and deliver sustainable value across the supply chain.

The Role

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business growth and operational objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to secure best value, quality, and reliability.
• Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across production, engineering, and finance to ensure a joined-up approach.
• Monitor market trends and risks to ensure continuity of supply and competitive advantage.

• Proven track record in senior procurement roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
