Salary: £80,000 – £125,000 + benefits

The Role

The Head of Conveyancing will take ownership of the new office conveyancing department, driving growth, building the team, and strengthening the firm’s local presence. This is a senior leadership position, combining strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in complex property transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the conveyancing team to deliver exceptional client service.
• Developing and executing growth strategies for the department.
• Building and nurturing a strong local network of professional contacts and referral partners.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
• Working closely with the leadership team to align conveyancing services with the wider firm strategy.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified conveyancer (Solicitor, CLC or Licensed Conveyancer) with the ambition and vision to take the conveyancing practice to the next level.

They will be:

• Experienced in handling a full range of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters.
• Client-focused, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A natural networker who enjoys engaging with clients, agents, and local professionals.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ambitious and motivated to build and lead a high-performing team.

A personal client following is welcome but not essential – what matters most is drive, professionalism, and a genuine passion for client care.
