Development Planner (Client-side) in Manchester

Job description

My client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team based in Manchester as a Planner or Assistant Planner. In this role, you will assist with project planning, development, and land use management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse and impactful projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate large planning projects, supporting Associate/Director
• Manage smaller projects
• Align with budget and business plan to drive value through planning and sale-ready opportunities
• Act as planning project manager, addressing key issues and risks with internal and external teams
• Promote land portfolio sites through strategic development plans
• Conduct site appraisals, providing recommendations on feasibility, costs, and risks

The ideal person:

• Between 1 - 4 years experience (fresh graduates who have work experience within Town Planning will be considered)
• Career focussed and ambitious individual
• Confident in planning abilities and willingness to get involved with other project deliverables
• Planning to or working towards or chartership
