Funds Lawyer (Maternity Cover) in London Area

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Funds Lawyer to join the team on a maternity cover, with an expected start date in early February running for circa 15 months to allow for a handover. The successful candidate will bring the expertise needed to take ownership of ongoing projects and provide support across the core functions of asset management, including:

• Reviewing and negotiating fund structures globally (experience with Irish UCITS is particularly valuable)
• Drafting and reviewing client investment management agreements and related documentation
• Reviewing and negotiating trading/brokerage legal documentation
• Reviewing and negotiating external service provider and vendor contracts
• Providing ad hoc support on matters such as IP and litigation

About you:

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience gained within a leading international law firm or a comparable in-house legal team
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Commercial awareness and sound judgment
• Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
