Job description
Trustee Role: Counselling
The Role
You will bring clinical or counselling expertise to the Board, ensuring our wellbeing services remain ethical, effective, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice on counselling practice and supervision.
- Ensure services meet safeguarding and ethical standards.
- Support development of culturally competent counselling.
- Strengthen links with counselling networks and services.
Person Specification
- Background in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology.
- Accreditation (BACP, UKCP, HCPC) desirable.
- Knowledge of counselling ethics and supervision.
Please note this post is:
• Subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. It will be necessary for a disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and barring Service for details of any previous criminal convictions.
