Head of Cost Management – Global Property Development

London HQ (with UK & international travel)

£100,000 – £115,000 base + bonus (up to 25%)

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Cost Management to join a global organisation on an exciting growth journey. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll drive cost efficiencies, oversee a £100m+ development portfolio, and shape the future of property projects worldwide.

What you’ll do

• Lead cost management for all capital projects, ensuring delivery on or under budget.
• Drive year-on-year cost savings across new builds, refurbishments, and major investments.
• Oversee procurement, tenders, contractors, and supply chain partners.
• Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders, up to C-suite.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and value engineering.
• Build, coach, and motivate a high-performing cost management team.

What we’re looking for

• Degree or post-grad in Quantity Surveying or Finance + professional chartership.
• Experience managing a £100m+ portfolio of development projects.
• Proven expertise in cost management and multi-site property delivery.
• Strong communicator with negotiation and senior stakeholder influence skills.
• A hands-on leader with resilience and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
