Chef de Partie Salary: £34,000 + Service Charge

The Opportunity 

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our Park Hyatt London River Thames team. In this role, you will take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, working closely with the Sous Chef and wider culinary team to bring our new immersive dining experience to life. Magic Table is an immersive 3D dining experience where each table is transformed into a captivating storyteller, guided by the guest’s personal choices. Making its London debut at the exclusive Tamisé, this one-of-a-kind event features world-renowned magicians Thommy Ten & Amélie van Tass. The working hours for this role are Wednesday to Sunday, 3pm to 10pm.

As a Chef de Partie, you will lead your section with precision, creativity, and consistency. You’ll be expected to uphold the highest culinary standards, mentor junior chefs, and contribute to the seamless execution of our diverse menus. 

  • Section Leadership: Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section, ensuring it is well-prepared, organised, and operating at the highest standard. 

  • Menu Execution: Prepare and present dishes with consistency in flavour, texture, and presentation, contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience. 

  • Team Development: Support and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented kitchen environment. 

  • Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste. 

  • Compliance & Hygiene: Uphold rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and company policies. 

  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment and workstations, ensuring smooth service across all meal periods. 

  • Innovation & Creativity: Contribute ideas to menu development, seasonal specials, and unique culinary experiences that reflect our brand’s identity.
