Demi Chef de Partie Salary: £29,000 + Service Charge

The Opportunity  

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie to join our Park Hyatt London River Thames team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader culinary team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace is a vibrant all-day dining destination inspired by the cultural diversity of London. With an open kitchen, elegant dining room, and a stylish summer terrace, the restaurant offers a refined yet relaxed setting for breakfast, express lunches, and curated dinner experiences. The menu celebrates bold flavours and seasonal ingredients, featuring London-inspired small plates, wood-fired flatbreads, and signature grills. As part of the culinary team here, you’ll contribute to a creative environment that values authenticity, innovation, and exceptional guest service.

  • Preparation: Execute all aspects of Mise en Place (MEP), ensuring readiness and consistency for service across multiple outlets. 

  • Food Quality & Presentation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and visual appeal. 

  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP and company policies. 

  • Workstation & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and machinery are clean, organised, and well-maintained to support efficient operations. 

  • Policy Implementation: Support the implementation of food policies, including allergen management and dietary requirements, ensuring compliance and guest safety. 

  • Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste and maintain freshness. 

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, contributing to a positive and productive environment. 

  • Learning & Development: Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and seeking opportunities to expand your culinary skills and knowledge.
