MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Rapidly Growing International brand on the search for a Head of D2C to drive their expansion. This is a full-time onsite role based in London.


As the Head of D2C, you will play a key leadership role in establishing and growing the brand's presence, managing both e-commerce and retail operations, and driving marketing and business development efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a market from the ground up in a company that is investing heavily in its expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the expansion, developing and executing both e-commerce and retail strategies.
  • Oversee and optimize the Shopify platform, ensuring a localized and high-converting customer experience.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, working closely with influencer marketing and digital teams to build brand awareness.
  • Drive the retail expansion, supporting the launch of new stores and ensuring commercial success in physical locations.
  • Manage inventory and logistics to ensure an efficient supply chain and fast order fulfilment.
  • Build and lead a local team, hiring key personnel across marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Own the P&L ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Establish new business areas and partnerships to accelerate market penetration and brand positioning.


What are we looking for?


  • Proven experience in e-commerce, retail, or market expansion, ideally in fashion, sporting goods, or consumer brands.
  • Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and scale a team.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales, managing P&L, and optimizing commercial performance.
  • Experience in logistics, inventory management, and omnichannel retail strategies.
  • Ability to work strategically while also executing hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
