Are you a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget?

At OCU, we’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in managing cost and contractual aspects across a range of exciting projects.

There is plenty of opportunity for development and progression. This is an additional role within our team as part of our growth in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Develop and manage detailed project budgets.
• Monitor and optimize project costs throughout the lifecycle
• Lead the tendering process and evaluate supplier bids.
• Resolve contractual issues during project delivery.
• Implement cost control measures and track expenditure.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting profitability.
• Prepare interim and final payment valuations.
• Collaborate with teams to monitor and manage risk.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Chartered (RICS/CICES) or working towards chartered status.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management.
• Proficient in QS software and Microsoft Office.
