Head of Data & Modelling

Bristol or Redhill (3 days/week in office,flexible for the right person)

£103,000–£120,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Health + Pension (up to 16%)

As our Head of Data & Modelling, you’ll be at the forefront of a bold, data-led evolution ,using advanced analytics and cutting-edge technology to shape a smarter, more sustainable future.

I am looking for a Head of Data & Modelling who’s a people-first visionary, not a technical wizard, someone who inspires teams, challenges the status quo, and turns complexity into clarity.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Business Evolution & Innovation and have full autonomy to build, run, and grow your division. As Head of Data & Modelling, you’ll be trusted to lead from the front and bring strategy to life across the organisation.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of data scientists, modellers, and engineers
• Design and deliver enterprise-wide data and modelling strategy
• Harness AI, ML, IoT, and GIS to unlock new possibilities
• Drive decision-making through forecasting and modelling
• Collaborate across IT, engineering, asset management, and regulatory bodies

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven leadership of large teams (up to 100)
• Experience delivering enterprise-level transformation
• Comfort with ambiguity and building structure from scratch
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Power BI, Azure, AWS, SCADA
• Ability to connect tech, people, and business outcomes

You don’t need to be the subject matter expert, you need to be the Head of Data & Modelling who brings it all together.
