Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Head Vet to lead their dedicated team. Rota Details

The role is offered on a 4-day week with a 1:4 weekend rota. There are no OOH requirements, although the Head Vet will be on call if any overnight inpatients are being cared for.

Description of the Role

As Head Vet, the successful candidate will take on both clinical and leadership responsibilities. The role will involve delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while also supporting and developing colleagues, ensuring best practice is followed, and championing continuous improvement across the practice. The Head Vet will play an integral part in the management team, working towards a shared vision of clinical excellence.


The Ideal Candidate

The ideal applicant will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a high level of clinical expertise and a passion for leadership. They will be confident in guiding and motivating colleagues, committed to gold-standard care, and driven to help the practice achieve its strategic goals. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to inspire and coach others are essential.
