Planning Consultancy based in Yorkshire offering a top class advisory service with outstanding success rates. Multi-disciplinary practice operating across Yorkshire, Northumberland, Lancashire, Bedfordshire and beyond.

Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time office and field based role. Work will include planning research and advisory, assisting and supporting the two Directors, evaluating development proposals, liaison with third party consultants, preparing and presenting reports, submitting planning applications, discharging conditions and understanding relevant Local and National Planning Policy.

Qualifications/Experience

• Proficient working with Design Codes, Flood Risk, Local Plan Policies, BNG Metric (with specialist input) and Local Plan Representations
• Up to date understanding of current and emerging legislation
• Detailed drawings/plan review experience and ability to work alongside small Architectural Team
• Excellent communication and consultation skills
• Report preparation and presentation skills
• Degree in Planning or related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Professional membership (e.g., Royal Town Planning Institute) is preferred
