Pharmacist: Independent Prescriber

Location: Swaffham, Norfolk

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

Share Options: Percentage of Salary

Hours: Full Time: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday); Part Time: Flexible hours (including potential weekend/evening cover)

Breaks: 30-minute paid lunch (included in working hours)

Contract Type: Permanent – Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

About the Role

We are seeking motivated, patient-focused, prescribing pharmacists to join our innovative healthcare team based in Swaffham, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, AI-enabled healthcare company (PLC) delivering a range of private and NHS services in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The role will primarily involve clinical consultations and clinical screening, ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety.

You will be delivering a variety of clinical services under Patient Group Directions (PGDs), including:

• Weight Loss Services
• Travel Health Advice and Vaccinations
• NHS National Enhanced Services, such as Pharmacy First
• Other lifestyle and preventative care services

We aim to expand into prescribing clinics in the near future.

While your main focus will be on consultation-based and clinical services, there may be occasional duties to support the online pharmacy team e.g. Clinically checking prescriptions. These duties are non–patient facing and form a small part of the overall role.

You will play a key role in a growing a clinical model that embraces technology, innovation, and patient accessibility.

About You

We’re seeking pharmacists who are:

• GPhC-registered and eligible to practice in the UK
• Independent Prescribers
• Passionate about patient-centred care
• Excellent communicators, confident in consultations and clinical conversations
• Driven, adaptable, and tech-savvy – eager to learn and innovate
• Experienced or interested in delivering PGD-based and NHS clinical services

Desirable (Not Essential):

Prior experience with PGDs (e.g. Weight Loss, Travel Health)

Experience or interest in NHS enhanced services, such as Pharmacy First

Interest in digital health and service innovation
