Selby Jennings is exclusively partnering with a leading Quantitative Trading firm to hire a dynamic Business Development Lead for a brand-new client-driven market-making platform focused on digital assets.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a high-impact business line and shape the future of token liquidity on centralised exchanges.

The Opportunity

Our client is expanding its footprint in the crypto space by launching a turnkey liquidity solution for token projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is excited by the challenge of building something world-class from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard token projects and institutional clients needing liquidity solutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with centralised exchanges globally.
  • Lead the full sales cycle-from sourcing and pitching to negotiating and onboarding.
  • Create compelling marketing materials, pitch decks, and client proposals.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and tactical campaigns to differentiate the offering.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and position it as a trusted liquidity partner.
  • Negotiate commercial terms including spreads, inventory levels, and KPIs.
  • Monitor performance and ensure profitability within the first 6 months.

✅ What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in Sales or Business Development within crypto.
  • Proven success in liquidity provision or related services.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high urgency and self-motivation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience creating marketing and sales collateral.
  • Familiarity with centralised exchange operations and token listings.
  • Ability to analyse competitors and identify new business lines.
