Cardiology Application Specialist – Nuclear Medicine & PET


Are you passionate about advancing cardiac imaging and supporting innovation in Nuclear Medicine? We’re looking for a Cardiology Application Specialist to join our client's growing team dedicated to delivering world-class clinical and technical support across the UK.


In this role, you’ll work closely with hospitals, imaging centers, and key opinion leaders to provide expert education, training, and application support for Cardiac PET technology. You’ll also play a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring that every site is equipped for success from installation and setup to ongoing optimization and troubleshooting.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive support and education for Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac PET customers.
  • Provide hands-on training for imaging professionals, focusing on safe handling of radioactive materials (ALARA) and optimal image acquisition/processing.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for technical issues and application troubleshooting, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams — including Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services — to support customer success and retention.
  • Drive adoption of new initiatives and technologies within the organization.
  • Represent the business as a trusted clinical partner across the Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology community.


What You’ll Bring

  • Background as a Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist. (ESSENTIAL)
  • In-depth knowledge of Nuclear Medicine at a national level, with hands-on clinical or hospital experience.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine imaging; experience with Cardiac PET and/or Oncology preferred.
  • Proven experience with Cardiac PET installations, applications, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Eligibility to work and travel within the UK; valid driving license and clean driving record required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50%+), including occasional weekends.
