Strategic HR Business Partner - Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain

Location: London (or Milton Keynes with travel)

Loom Talent are working exclusively with a leading global logistics distribution and supply chain brand looking for a Strategic HR Business partner to join their team. The role will be based in London or Milton Keynes supporting the growing UK operation from their London sites.

You'll play a key role in shaping people strategy across a multi-site logistics and last-mile delivery network in London, partnering closely with senior key stakeholders to drive business performance and workforce engagement.

The Role

As a trusted Strategic HR Business Partner to the business, you'll deliver strategic and operational HR support across approximately 10 delivery stations, helping to develop a high-performing, engaged, and resilient workforce. You'll combine hands-on HR leadership with a focus on long-term people planning and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement people strategies that align with business goals across logistics and delivery operations.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and deployment strategies to ensure all processes are fit for purpose
  • Support organisational design and change initiatives to support business growth
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and talent development internally across operational teams.
  • Provide expert advice on complex ER matters and ensure full compliance with UK employment law.
  • Use people analytics and key metrics (e.g., turnover, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill) and use the findings to drive strategic projects

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role within logistics, supply chain, or a high-volume operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience managing workforce planning, employee relations, and organisational change in a fast-paced setting.
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage, though not essential.
