About Us:

South Manchester Care is a trusted provider of high-quality home care services, specialising in complex care, live-in care, and hospital-to-home support. With contracts across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Cheshire West, we’re expanding our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference.

We support clients with long-term health conditions, neurological disorders, PEG feeding, tracheostomies, spinal injuries, learning disabilities, and other complex care needs. If you’re a committed carer with a full driving licence, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced, reliable, and compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support clients with specialist needs in their own homes. This is a rewarding role where you will receive full clinical training and support from our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with complex clinical care needs (e.g., PEG feeding, epilepsy management, hoisting, etc.)
  • Providing personal care and medication support in line with care plans
  • Assisting with mobility, continence care, and maintaining skin integrity
  • Working closely with healthcare professionals and family members
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health or wellbeing
  • Accurately maintaining care records and reporting to the Service Manager

Requirements:
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Minimum 6 months experience in care (complex care experience is a strong advantage)
  • Willingness to undertake complex care training (PEG, epilepsy, tracheostomy, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach
  • Reliable, committed, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK
