Scenic Draughtsperson - Events

North London / Herts

£35,000 - £45,000 + great benefits

Excellent career opportunity for a scenic Draughtsperson with experience in technical draughting using AutoCAD.

This full service production and AV company provide a range of services to their clients including audio, video and scenic builds for both corporate and private clients. With a warehouse and workshop they deliver bespoke live event production and scenic solutions to a wide range of prestige live events across the UK! With a close knit team and relaxed working environment this is a great company to be a part of.

The role

This role will lead both the creative and technical solutions that transform ideas into reality and will understand how to take a project brief and turn it into precise 2D and 3D technical drawings. The Draughtsperson will advise on the suitable materials, construction techniques and finishes for a range of bespoke build projects in the live events industry You will produce detailed component drawings for CNC and laser cutting that are of the highest quality and detailing and be confident in supporting with quotations and keeping project documents up to date. Attending site visits and ensuring Health & Safety quality are adhered to are also part of the role.

About you

Working collaborative with the project management team you will be organised and understand working to project timelines and deadlines. You will have a strong understanding of technical draughting and materials for Scenic Builds and event production and be a whizz with AutoCAD.
