Kubernetes Security Specialist | Ocra Security Essential | Global Payments Company

• Remote UK (London preferable)
• 6 months (with potential extension)

We’re seeking an experienced Kubernetes Security Specialist to support a leading global financial services organisation on a key cloud security project. The successful contractor will play a central role in strengthening container security posture and integrating Orca Security into existing cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize security configurations across Kubernetes clusters.
• Deploy, manage, and fine-tune Orca Security for continuous cloud workload protection.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend remediations for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to embed best practices across CI/CD pipelines.
• Support compliance and governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal and external standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Kubernetes security architecture and hardening.
• Hands-on expertise with Orca Security (deployment, configuration, reporting).
• Strong understanding of containerization, cloud-native workloads, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Contract Details:

• Type: Outside IR35 (UK) / Independent Contractor (EU)
• Rate: Competitive (based on experience)
• Duration: 6 months, likely extension
