£55,000 - £60,000 + Package

We are currently working with a leading construction company based in Bury, delivering high-quality public building projects up to £15 million, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to work on public sector projects, managing costs from tender stage through to project completion. You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and managing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
• Monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and cost reporting
• Valuing contractor applications and managing variations
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams
• Supporting risk management and contractual compliance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector, ideally on public/council projects
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and procurement processes
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Relevant professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred
