A leading international law firm is seeking a newly-qualified Funds Associate to join its top-tier Private Funds Group. Recognised across the industry for its excellence in fund formation, the team advises a diverse client base including private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and emerging fund managers across a broad spectrum of fund-related matters. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions ranging from structuring and fundraising to secondaries and multi-billion-dollar closings.


As a Funds Associate, you will be involved in the formation, organisation, and operation of a wide variety of fund types, including buyout, growth-equity, venture, infrastructure, real estate, credit, and hedge funds. You’ll contribute to sophisticated mandates involving continuation funds, GP-led secondaries, and bespoke structures such as funds-of-one and evergreen products. The team regularly handles high-profile matters across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions, offering exposure to cutting-edge market developments and global investment strategies.


This practice is uniquely positioned as a multi-specialist group with leading capabilities across private equity, credit, real assets, and liquidity solutions. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across tax, regulatory, securities, and employment disciplines, and work closely with international teams on cross-border matters. The firm’s commitment to innovation and market intelligence ensures that you’ll be at the forefront of legal and commercial developments in the alternative investment space.


Candidates should demonstrate strong academic credentials, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in private funds. Applicants must be on track to complete their training contract at a City firm by March 2026 and have prior experience in funds.
