Infrastructure Finance Associate (NQ–5PQE) – International Law Firm – Central London


Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (NQ–5PQE) to join its highly regarded infrastructure finance team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on market-leading transactions across the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors, advising a diverse range of clients on complex, cross-border projects.

The Role


This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of mandates. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collaborative team and work closely with senior lawyers on:


  • Drafting, reviewing, and amending documentation for infrastructure finance transactions
  • Providing strategic guidance to clients, leveraging strong market awareness and sector knowledge
  • Managing client expectations, deadlines, and project delivery
  • Collaborating across teams, departments, and jurisdictions in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment
  • Leading and supervising junior team members
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to group and firm-wide strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Developing and sharing legal and sector knowledge internally and externally


What They’re Looking For


  • Qualified lawyer, ideally NQ–5PQE
  • Experience in at least one of: project finance, infrastructure finance, or leveraged/real estate finance
  • Demonstrated interest in energy and infrastructure, with strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplines
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
  • Clear and concise communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial drive and strong commercial acumen
  • Sound judgement, credibility, and alignment with the firm’s core values
